About
Fiona Berry's work takes form across multiple media, using drawing and sculpture for storytelling and world-building. Aesthetics invoke folklore and mythology. Interested in what makes us human across time and culture, beneath the contingent norms of society, Fiona draws from the image-world and craft skills of children, fantasy, carnivals, archaeology and world mythology. Her art comments on socio-economic norms and conditions shaping our relation to place, identity, gender and ownership.
